"I
first encountered Sports injuries at the tender age of 18 whilst training
as a contemporary dancer at the Laban Centre London.
This
early career was cut short by injury so I concentrated on anatomy
and bodywork, qualifying in sports injuries and deep tissue work.
I now
use this technique of combining movement and treating muscular problems
to help solve postural problems.
I completed
a two year Diploma Course in the management of Sports Injuries
and Sports therapy, gaining also a Diploma in Reflexology.
I later
completed the BTEC Professional Diploma in Sport and Remedial
Massage and studied Chinese Tuina Massage under Anthony Horrocks
I
qualified at distinction level with the Pilates Foundation, the main
control body for the technique in Britain.
Since
qualification, as well as running my studio I have assisted on teacher
training courses, including a number with elements of clinical application."
